The Noir Corset Top is the piece Laura kept making for herself. A sweetheart neckline sits above a body built from shaped panels rather than darts — each seam placed to hold the waist and release the hip. Nothing on it is decorative. Worn with the silk skirt it was photographed in it reads as a dress; worn with tailoring or denim it reads as something else entirely. That was always the point.

Cut and assembled by hand in Laura's New York atelier. The body is built from shaped panels rather than darts, each boning channel stitched and set individually so the structure follows you instead of fighting you. Interior seams are bound and finished by hand.
Silk charmeuse over a structured, fully boned body. Silk lining throughout. Sweetheart neckline. Concealed centre-back zip.
- Dry clean recommended to preserve the boned structure
- If hand washing, use cool water and a pH-neutral silk detergent
- Never wring or twist — press water out gently and lay flat to dry
- Steam from a distance to release creases; never iron the silk directly
- Store hanging, away from direct sunlight
