From Bogotá, With Love
Growing up in Colombia, Laura had a clear vision of the woman she dreamed of becoming. From a very young age, she dreamed of living in New York, building her own fashion brand, and creating a life that reflected that vision.
Over time, that dream began to take on a deeper meaning. Moving to New York and everything that led her there taught her that women are made of many layers — and that becoming the woman you dream of being is an ongoing journey of discovering them.
Today, Laura designs for her future self: the woman she is still becoming, the woman who continues to evolve, dream, and grow.
She believes clothing can be more than something we wear. It can be a tool to embody a version of yourself, to feel more confident, and to step into the life you envision.
Montano was created from that belief — to create timeless, elegant pieces that help women feel beautiful, confident, and closer to the woman they dream of becoming.

Montano is not a business plan. It’s a belief system. I believe the pieces a woman wears closest to her should be made with the same care and intention as the finest couture.
Every piece I create is made entirely by hand, from the first cut to the final stitch. One at a time. Never in advance, never in bulk.
