1. About Montano
Montano is a luxury lingerie and silk apparel brand based in New York City. All pieces are handmade by designer Laura Montano in our atelier. Montano operates as a sole proprietorship. For any questions, please contact us at our contact page.
2. Products & Pricing
Handmade Nature: All Montano products are handcrafted. Due to the artisanal nature of our work, slight variations in color, texture, and sizing may occur. These variations are not defects but rather reflect the unique, handmade quality of each piece.
Pricing: All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or duties, which may be applied at checkout or upon delivery depending on your location.
Availability: Due to limited production quantities, items may sell out quickly. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue any product at any time.
3. Orders & Payment
Order Acceptance: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud.
Payment: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Apple Pay. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
Made-to-Order Items: Certain pieces are made to order and require additional production time. Made-to-order items cannot be canceled once production has begun.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Complimentary Shipping: We offer complimentary express shipping worldwide on all orders. All shipments are fully insured and include tracking.
Processing Time: Ready-to-ship items typically ship within 3-5 business days. Made-to-order pieces require 2-4 weeks for production before shipping.
Delivery Times: Once shipped, delivery typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your location. International orders may be subject to customs delays.
Customs & Duties: International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in our prices.
5. Returns & Exchanges
Return Policy: Due to the intimate nature of our products, we accept returns only for unworn, unwashed items in their original condition with all tags attached, within 14 days of delivery.
Non-Returnable Items: Made-to-order pieces, items marked as final sale, and any items that have been worn, washed, or altered are not eligible for return.
Exchanges: We offer exchanges for different sizes subject to availability. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange an exchange.
Refund Process: Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
6. Product Care
Montano pieces are crafted from delicate materials that require special care. Please follow the care instructions provided with each item. Damage resulting from improper care, including machine washing or drying, is not covered under any warranty or return policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, designs, and product images, is the property of Montano and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Montano shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or purchase of our products after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
